An International Year of Astronomy 'Live" Stream of Deep Sky Objects coming to you via the
Southern Galactic Telescope Hosting Site 1 Facility in Australia.

The following service is a Combined Project in partnership with Warren Rupp Observatory, Universe Today
and the  Northern Galactic and Southern Galactic astronomy service websites.
Our 'live' broadcasts target night sky objects of interest as seen from the
Southern Hemisphere whenever clear weather conditions are available.

Transmissions commence around 0900 UT and will run as long as possible during the
evening (Local Time). Please feel free to spread the Galactic word whenever we transmit live.

Imaging System: Meade EXT 80 (non-guided) / Stellacam II. (IR Filter) FL 400mm. Each 1 second image is a
combination of 255 separate integrations as gathered by the Video Camera.
Occaisionally, you may see the target shift or blur as we centre the camera. The image should clear soon after.

Keep checking the Galactic Television Page to see if we are
transmitting or visit the northerngalactic.com and southerngalactic.com Websites for updates.
